Early Years Music Trip

Whilst exploring sounds we went on an adventure to the local, piano shop where we learned about various sounds. Here we investigated how we change the sound or the pitch of the piano, the process of repairing and the differences between electric and grand piano.

And what our children say about the trip?

Electric pianos don’t have strings. We saw a grand piano with no strings.

I played on electric piano.

I learned that piano is really hard to fix.

We put small things inside and it changed the sound.

Grand piano has wheels.

There was a magic piano playing itself.

I played the piano.

We took a picture with thumbs up because it was a great trip.

We had so much fun! Thank you Van Kerkwijk Pianos!
